  • Spatial layering is a design concept where multiple spatial planes are layered to design how people perceive spaces and to emote different kinds of feelings associated with the user experience. The house is designed using multiple layers of materials, planes, and volume for users to pause and absorb the essence of earthy materials and enjoy the dense landscape.
#MyGreatFacade is a series presented by Fenesta Windows in association with #Buildofy
The Principal Architect walks us through the project insightfully breaking down the various spaces.

Forest-like landscape, use of laterite wall, spatial layering, and a pool area are some of the highlights of this project.

With some bedrooms in this plan, i understand it's a house. Moreover, it looks like a renovated office.

Very nice! Loved the concept, design & finishes. #NorthCrescent Rd. is a lovely residential locality in T-Ngr, right behind the Jain Temple.

some nice ideas .. with a bit of work it could be quite good. Why would anyone want to have coffee in a carport ? And that rainforest area out the back would be greatly improved if the water body didn't look like a muddy swamp. Colours internally are awful as well. And that zen court is wasted ... needs to be planted properly

Considering the city's weather, and the layered glass window, woudlnt' that enclosure be suffocating?

not much luxurious, not much modern, not much wow factor, not much fully loaded, simple Dream house, i think around 2500 plus sq yards middle in center of city good plot size, good greenary..

Looks wowww... Huge stylish and lush green. One of the best in the buildofy series... However couldn't help noticing a few glaring flaws...
Such massive stylish home and no temple? Unless the home belongs to a bhagwan hating dk or dmk politician it doesn'tke sense. Even in case it was a loony leftist they would have a hidden temple in the basement... So why no Pooja room?
Also the landscaping looks nice but I don't see any fragrant Chennai specific trees like parijaath or kondrai or fruit bearing trees like mango or jackfruit. It seems to be a collection of useless onnamental plants not native to Chennai which are neither beneficial to the vision or to taste... Landscaping is better if it is herbs or fruits or flowers otherwise it is merely wasted greens. My two cents 👍
But overall a fabulous home and the design and build team have done a fabulous job. Best wishes to the proud owners. This must be one of the best homes in chennai❤
